1.0 INTRODUCTION

"Lepak," a Malay term meaning to "hang out," inspires Lepak Diplomasi, a series of monthly

interactive engagements featuring foreign diplomats from various countries serving in

Malaysia. Lepak Diplomasi aims to provide a dynamic networking platform that fosters

meaningful connections through engaging discussions and exchanges, all under the theme

of "Your Key to the World."

2.0 CONCEPT

While Malaysia hosts numerous national day celebrations each year, organized by foreign

embassies in Kuala Lumpur, Lepak Diplomasi strives to offer something more impactful. Our

goal is to equip attendees with valuable insights and information about each featured

country, enabling them to establish new relationships and connections, going beyond just

enjoying a meal and socializing.

3.0 OBJECTIVES

Our primary objective is to bridge the gap in public understanding of international

diplomatic affairs, presenting them in an engaging, relaxed format with minimal protocol.

We aim to create an environment where attendees can engage with foreign diplomats, build

relationships, and learn about global cultures and opportunities, all while networking with

peers from diverse backgrounds.

4.0 CONTENT & STRUCTURE

Each session will cover a range of subtopics, including the country’s history, culture,

education, tourism, business opportunities, trade relations, and social issues. Attendees will

be exposed to various cultural showcases, such as exhibitions of local products, traditional

food, cultural performances, and more, providing a rich and immersive experience.

5.0 COLLABORATOR

WIF Services Sdn. Bhd, under the direction of Mr. Muhammad Bin Ahmad Zahid, will serve

as the key collaborator for the program’s execution.

6.0 TARGET AUDIENCE

Lepak Diplomasi aims to engage a diverse group of individuals, with a particular focus on

youth and young professionals, including student leaders, academics, scholars, civil servants,

business professionals, and anyone with an interest in international relations.
